Knit Camisole [Pear Body]

—Before developing our Baggy Knit Cardigan, we initially created a prototype of a knit camisole. Initially, I was concerned about the thinness of the straps, which led to its shelving as we shifted focus to developing the Knit Cardigan.

However, as the weather warmed, we revisited the camisole design, starting with making the straps thicker. We went through several prototypes, evolving the straps from practically string-like to the robust version you see in the final product photos.

While the straps remain slender and the knit nature of the camisole gives it a delicate feel, I think it looks great on our Smart Doll girls.

Originally released in April 2020, we have recently reintroduced this item, finding that it also fits the pear body girls quite well.

Reasons not to buy

1. Given the inherent characteristics of this particular knitwear, it’s important to note that the edges of this itemwill likely begin to fray depending on handling. We want to make it clear that we are unable to offer replacements or refunds for knit items that have started to fray. If the potential for fraying is a concern for you, we recommend considering whether this item aligns with your needs before making a purchase.

2. Although we have thickened the straps, they retain a slender design, which may impact their durability depending on handling.

3. We have offered this camisole in three different colors for a few years, so you may find community members who own it. Consider asking them about its durability to help inform your decision.
