If you plan to use the free boot patterns to design your own footwear, you can use the free STL files to print your own soles.

However, unless you use a rubbery resin or PLA, you may find that the sole may not curve enough to be stuck on effectively.

These are the soles that come with our leather boots. Injection molded here in Japan, the squishy rubber soles make it easier to glue to the Upper.

Folks who don’t have access to a 3D printer may want to use these soles and perhaps use putty to pad a Smart Doll foot as a substitute for the Last.

We use industrial-grade shoe glue to attach the sole, but products like this for consumers would probably work just as well, seeing as your Smart Doll wont be running asmuch as a human.

As with all our soles, scuff marks may appear on the surface even before you open the bag and may accumulate as you handle them.
