I’m pleased to announce the second DC heroine from the Warner Bros. Consumer Products X Smart Doll collaboration – Batgirl: The Batgirl Of Burnside.

If you are not familiar with this version of Batgirl then maybe this would be a good opportunity to grab hold of the comic.

Barbara Gordons ready for a fresh start. Shes packing her bags, crossing the bridge, and heading to Gothams coolest neighborhood: Burnside. And when a freak fire burns up her costume and gear, Babs has the chance to become a whole new Batgirl!

But she barely slips on her new DIY costume before Batgirl starts trending as Gothams first viral vigilante–and attracting a new wave of enemies who want her social-media spotlight for themselves. Meanwhile, the girl beneath the gears got a whole new crew of friends, college classes that are kicking her Bat-butt and a dating scene that would make anyone want to swipe left on life.

This bats done living in the shadows. But will the bright lights of Burnside burn her for good?

What’s Included

Included with Batgirl are the following items – all entirely handcrafted in Japan in regions such as Gifu and Tokyo.

• Vinyl body in cinnamon skin tone with default S bust and default open hands.

• Painted face with eyes installed

The customer will have to attach the wig and dress the Smart Doll themselves. The Smart Doll will arrive wearing only the default sports bra that helps prevent hypothermia during cryosleep on the long flight.

Before you part with your money, we ask that you understand the product specs that require reading the following.

• We expect to complete shipping by August 30th 2022. Any “where is my stuff” questions asked before August 30th will result in the order being canceled and refunded as we presume folks need the product faster than we can prepare.

• The order open time is not disclosed to prevent DDOS attacks by bots.
• This item is a limited release, and orders will close once we reach the amount we can make for this batch. However, we may need to cancel orders placed by scalpers or bots. In this case, we will restock and open orders again. If we do open orders again, shipping will be within 4 weeks.
• Orders are limited to one per person. Folks who “accidentally” ordered two will have their order canceled.
• We cannot accept orders of additional items with Batgirl. Any orders that contain additional items will result in the entire order being canceled and refunded. This is due to the volume of orders that need to be sent out within a certain time frame and because the accessory box is already packed with…accessories.
• As part of our anti-reseller/bot measures, folks who purchase from this site for the first time will need to answer a few questions sent by our team members. Folks need to reply using the same email used to place the order. Folks who cannot answer the questions will have their order canceled and refunded. We are not responsible for any emails that were not delivered due to networking issues.
• Folks who have only purchased licensed or limited edition products from this site must show evidence that they still possess those items. If evidence can’t be provided, orders are canceled and refunded.
• When a refund is issued, your credit card company will refund you based on the latest exchange rate (which we do not control) – this means you may end up with less than you paid. Your credit card company/paypal decides this policy – not us. We do not keep any fees when we refund an order.
• The warranty is only valid if the owner provides the order number, name, address, and phone number of the person who bought the product meaning that the reseller will have to disclose these details to the buyer – meaning that replacement parts will be only sent to the original buyer’s address.
• We also have algorithms that aim to detect scalper activity – such orders are canceled – even if folks claim they are not scalpers.
• We process thousands of orders regularly, but to do so, we need to use automated risk assessment tools to flag orders with a high risk of being fraudulent. Any decision to cancel an order is final, and we reserve the right not to reinstate the order or disclose details/reason for cancelation.

Reasons not to buy this product

1. The cowl, jacket, pants, cape, boots, and belt feature a weathered look that is non-uniform and asymmetrical. If you and a friendbought Batgirl Smart Doll and place them side by side, the weathering will look different.

2. The suit is stonewashed to create a weathered look. The suit is not ironed after the wash and may look crinkled.

3. The cowl has weathered scuff marks.

4. Leather parts are made from cowhide. Cowhide does not grow with even thickness, meaning that all leather components will not be of even thickness.

5. Leather will patina over time unless you live in an oxygen-free environment. This means that all leather components will not be the exact same shade of yellow.

6. The cowl may make a scuff mark on the forehead when you attach and remove it. Some or all of the scuffing may (or may not) be removable with some melamine sponge (not included, but you can get some on Amazon).

7. While we have not experienced any staining, the suit color is dark, so there is a risk of staining on the vinyl. Even if you use our stain-prevention bodysuits, there is still a risk of staining. Having said that, all apparel (regardless of whether we make it or not) has a risk of staining –

8. The jacket only opens from the back – this was a design decision to ensure the logo looked awesome instead of a split down the middle.

9. The jacket only fits the default bust and is very right. The pants are super tight, too and is unlikely that you will be able to wear stain prevention measures beneath.

10. Leather components are fuzzy on the back -pull the skin off any animal and you will see what I mean. Actually – don’t do that.

11. The boots are made of leather and feature random weathering markings that are not uniform – both the left and right boots will look different.

12. You need to tie the laces yourself.

13. While the body is covered by warranty for up to a year (

    ), the uniform and accessories are not.

14. The suit requires patience and effort to dress.

15. The sleeves make it difficult to know which way the elbow is bending. If the elbow is bent the wrong way – it will break just like your own elbow. When wearing the suit, take note of the direction the elbow is facing.

16. Depending on how you style the wig, you may be able to see some of the wig cap.

17. The wig has a style and not a shape. This means that every single wig is different and will not look exactly like the photos.

18. We can’t dress Batgirl at request – this is something you must do yourself – or get a buddy to help out.

19. Smart Doll Batgirl does not help beat up bullies – although I wish she did 😉 Especially those who have previously complained about the things that I have to explain above like “leathergrows oncows so expect imperfection.”

Starting top left to bottom right – Cowl may leave a scuff mark on the forehead, jacket and pants are a tight fit, leather will patina over time, leather components are not of equal thickness or color and the cowl will contain scuff marks.

How to dress Batgirl

Look at the 16-pack grid photo below – the top left square is the first step, and the bottom right square is the last step. I recommend you download the image to zoom in if it looks too small on your mobile device.

1. Layout the accessories to start the dress-up ritual.

2. Attach the wig.

3. Leave a load of forehead showing by tilting the wig back if you are going to attach the cowl. Depending on your ninja level, the cowl may leave a scuff mark on the forehead – you may (or may not) be able to remove it with some melamine sponge.

4. Remove the feet.

5. Remove bust and arms and dress the pants – it’s a super tight fit. Make sure the pants are pulled all the way up to the crotch.

6. Remove the hands. Open the jacket at the back and slot in the arms through the sleeves – then re-attach the hands.

7. Attach the bust.

8. Put the jacket over the neck and slot the arms back in the shoulder sockets.

9. Pull down the zip of the jacket – you will need top pull up the zip to attach the stand.

10. Attach the default hands or gloves.

11. Thread the laces of the boots to your liking and wear the boots.

12. Wear the belt – fluffy stuff at the back of the leather will fall off due to…what leather looks like on the back.

13. Attach the cape.

14. The cape may look like a camel hump at the back – so finger ninja it so that…

15. …..it looks awesome.

16. Awesome is complete!
