INTRODUCTION

Trinity was made to feel as unwelcome as possible in foster care. There was one particular evening when Trinity was out with her foster family – after arriving at home they discovered the front door open. They walked in to discover that the place was a mess – burglars had got in. Trinity was scared and started to cry. The eldest child of the foster family shouted at Trinity – What are you crying for?! This isn’t even your house!”

Trinity woke up suddenly and looked around the stock room that she slept in – this was her bedroom that the foster family also used to store stuff and hang their washing. It was that dream again – the same one that ended with This isnt even your house!

Trinity was looking around the room in the hopes that Destiny had paid a visit – Destiny was the host for a TV show called Destiny – Past & Beyond and Trinity would always imagine Destiny as her best friend who would visit her – but she never did. Destiny did however teach Trinity a lot about human evolution and the universe through the show.

In the first episode of Destiny – Past & Beyond, Destiny introduces herself as a being who lives on an Exo Planet orbiting a Neutron Star. Neutron Stars are the densest objects in the universe and coupled with their strong gravitational field, time on her planet passes much slower than it does on Earth. This means that beings on her planet have been able to observe millions of years of Earths evolution in a single lifetime. They do this using Wormhole Quantum Telescopes. On the show, Destiny uses the telescope to view what was happening on Earth before Homo Sapiens branched off from their last ancestor in Africa and how the Neanderthals became extinct.

Destiny also shows how key people in history through their discoveries of science had completely changed humankind and that these people were able to do so because they continued to get back up on their feet no matter how many times they stumbled – theywere able to do so because they had a belief and vision.

20 years later – Trinity is now an entrepreneur running many successful businesses and projects. She learns of a talk being given by Destiny and without hesitation books a flight to New York to see her childhood Heroine.

The stage is lit by the spotlight which illuminates the strong presence of Destiny but Trinity is confused. Instead of seeing a Destiny who should at least look somewhat older, Destiny looked exactly like she did 20 years ago on the TV show.

After the talk, Trinity dashes to the backstage door to wait for Destiny where she is about to leave escorted by a bunch of bodyguards.

Trinity calls out Destiny! I just wanted to thank you for your amazing show – it taught me a lot about life and gave me the hope to carry on when times werekind bleak for meat one point in my life.

Destiny looks at Trinity and smiles Ah, you must be Trinity – the one who lived in a stock room right? Looks like you did good for yourself!

Trinity remained silent for a while as she tried to digest what Destiny said – Howdid you know? And how come you look the same as you did 20 years ago?

Destiny replies Well I do just happen to live next to a Neutron Star and I do have a somewhat powerful telescope remember?

Trinity gives Destiny the who-you-trying-to-kid look.
