For Ruby likes to read and explore.
While friends scroll through their phone,
Ruby’s in a world that’s all her own.

She’ll try to convince them all the same,

That books can bring knowledge with no shame.
Unlike Facebook’s “fun” that fades away,
A good book’s lessons can forever stay.

So though her friends may call her lame,

Ruby knows reading is no game.
For in books, she finds the key,
To a world of wonder and majesty.
