About the product

Spike Spiegel is the hero of the worldwide hit anime series Cowboy Bebop and now for the first time ever as a 60cm tall fashion doll.
Spike comes with a telescopic stand, jacket, shirt, tie, boxer shorts, socks, trousers, shoes and his trusty Jericho 941 pistol – and just like all our products, both Spike and his apparel is made in Japan.

Specs

Take note that the wig (only one included) in these product photos has been set with some styling spray and what you will receive will be styled to look similar (but not exact) like the photos. There is a possibility that the wig may loose some of its shape during transit but this can be remedied with some styling mousse. We will upload a video to this page just before release to show you how so check back!

Spike will come with the guys Cinnamon skin tone Machobody which now has smaller feet.

Smart Doll is hand made in Japan – the frame in Yamagata Shinjo, Shell parts in Katsushika Tokyo, Assembly and QC in Gotanda Tokyo while apparel is made in Iwakuni and Kyushu.
Comes with 1 year warranty

Pre-orders open on 2019/10/02Wednesday JST.

Therearetwo batches – if youare quick to order and manage to order from Batch 1 then your order ships no later thanDecember16th 2019. The number of dolls in batch 1 are fixed and are actually ready – we just need Sunrise to issue license documents before we can ship. We cannot ship until these documents are issued.

If you are not so quick and only manage to order from Batch 2 then your order will ship no later thanApril1st 2020.All orders in Batch 2 are made to order. Depending on the production schedule, we may be able to ship earlierthan the stated dates.

When we switch from Batch 1to Batch 2, there may be a few seconds where both show “SOLD OUT” –

just keep calm

and refresh the page.

We plan to keep Batch 2 open for 7 days until 2019/10/09 AM JST. However, if we reach production capacity early then Batch 2 pre-orders will close. You cannot buy or pick up this item in

MiraiStore.

Important!

Orders are limited totwoof this productper person. Folks who accidentally orderedmore will have their order canceled and unfortunately wont be able to place an order on the store again.

Because this is a licensed product, wecannot process any refundsunless the product is faulty – please take note when ordering. If this is not cool then refrain from purchasing or wait for reviews – but then again it may be too late.

Note that you cant order anyapparel or accessories at the same time – nor can we combine orderswith pre-order products. If you order anything separately – it will be shipped separately. If you ordered something at the same time then we will have to cancel your entire order. This is due to payment, logistics and licensing constraints for this product that we have no control over.

Take note that we take payment at time of pre-order. If you are in Japan and choose bank transfer as a method of payment – please pay within 3 days of ordering or the system will think you are a troll and automatically cancel and restock.

Please please choose the “free shipping option” – if you accidentally choose to pay for shipping, we will have to cancel the entire order just to refund the shipping to you and we cannot reinstate the order. We cant just refund the shipping.

Warning to re-sellers

If you have a look on auction sites you will find very little Smart Doll products when compared to other brands. The reason is that we have measures to deter re-sellers from making profits from fans.

All Smart Dolls come with serial numbers. The warranty is only valid if the owner provides the name/address/phone number of the person who bought the product meaning that the reseller will have to disclose these details to the owner – meaning that replacement parts will be sent to the original buyers address.

We also have algorithms that aim to detect reseller activity – such orders are cancelled.

About fraud filtering

We process thousands of orders on a regular basis but in order to do so we need to use automated risk assessment tools to flag orders which have a high risk of being fraudulent. Any decision to cancel an order is final and we reserve the right to not reinstate the order or disclose details/reason for cancelation.
