—Growing up, Trinityfaced adversity at every turn. Not only was she a target of relentless bullying at school, but she also endured hardship in her foster care. The physical scars from being assaulted, the emotional trauma from watching her personal belongings go up in flames, and the isolation imposed by her foster parents who seldom let her mingle with the scant friends she had, painted a somber backdrop to her youth.

She often pondered over the root of such cruelty. Was it her appearance that drew such disdain, being deemed “ugly”? Or was it her inherently frail stature that tagged her as “different”, making her the “easy prey” in the eyes of bullies? However, Destiny perceived her tumultuous past as potentially having a silver lining.

Just as plants draw energy from the sun and convert it through photosynthesis, Destiny discovered an uncanny ability within her. Unlike most humans, who are heterotrophs and rely on consuming other organisms for survival, Destiny tapped into a unique source of energy. Through the relentless adversities she faced, she honed an ability to harness the negative energies directed towards her. She converted this energy, termed as “Forging Energy”, into resilience, strength, and ultimately, success.

Understanding the nuances of this energy, Destiny realized that retaliating would only dissipate it. Instead, her true triumph lay in flourishing despite her detractors letting them watch her rise was the greatest rebuttal. The expression she often carries isn’t of resentment, but one of concentrated Forged Energy.
